The Guam Department of Education will begin accepting applications for the Pilot Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) program for School Year 2022-2023 (SY 2022-2023). The following schools represent the four regions:

Between February 7, 2022, and April 15, 2022 families from the school districts listed above may submit their applications to their respective district school for enrollment into the Pilot Pre-Kindergarten Program. Children must be four years of age by July 31st, 2022 (born between August 1st, 2017 – July 31st, 2018) to participate in the program for School Year 2022-2023. The Pilot Pre-Kindergarten program is a full-day program running from 8:30 a.m. through 2:43 p.m. Transportation to and from school is not provided for the pilot PreK program.

The child’s birth certificate and proof of residency in the participating school’s district must be submitted with the application. Applications will be available at any participating school site and can be submitted via hard copy at the participating schools between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The deadline to submit applications is April 15, 2022, no later than 3:30 p.m. To determine a child’s participation in the program, a lottery may be held. Logistics of the lottery will be provided by the participating schools.
