Hafa adai!
On November 2, 2021, the U.S. CDC recommended children 5 through 11 years old be vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Pfizer pediatric vaccine. Vaccination, along with other preventative measures, can protect children from COVID-19. The safe and effective Pfizer vaccine is already recommended for use in adolescents and adults. Please see attached fact sheet for more information.
The Department of Public Health and Social Services in collaboration with the Guam Department of Education, Catholic, private and charter schools will conduct targeted vaccination outreach events to our island’s children 5 through 11 years of age. We kindly ask parents and guardians to complete the survey before the DPHSS town hall meeting on Friday, December 10, 2021.
