Congresswoman Visits Campus

On Tuesday, April 14, Congresswoman Madeleine Z. Bordallo visited the UMS campus as she announced that the island would receive at least $70 million in federal education funding, as part of President Obama's stimulus package. The Congresswoman toured areas of the campus with Superintendent Dr. Nerissa Bretania-Shafer, Guam Policy Board Chairman Joe San Agustin, and Kattan District GPB member Giovanni Sgambelluri.

The Congresswoman was interviewed by Pacific News Center while she visited the Counseling Center.


Mrs. Taitingfong, Mr. San Agustin, Dr. Shafer, and Congresswoman Bordallo listened to the award-winning UMS band.
