State Performance Plans for Division of Special Education Available |

(Hagåtña, Guam) The Guam Public School System (GPSS), Division of Special Education recently completed its six-year State Performance Plan (SPP) for the Guam Early Intervention System (GEIS), Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA) Part C Program, for young children with disabilities birth to three years old and their families. An SPP was also completed for the Special Education Program, IDEA Part B Program, for children and youth with disabilities ages three to twenty-one. These SPPs include an evaluation of how GPSS is meeting IDEA requirements and how GPSS will improve performance. Alternative formats of the SPPs, such as Braille or audio recording, are available upon request. |
