Chief Brodie Memorial to Show Appreciation for Summer Help |
|
(Hagåtña, Guam) GovGuam Agencies, Businesses, the Navy Seabees are just a few of the patrons the Busy Bees of Chief Brodie (CBMES) wish to thank for all their volunteer efforts this past summer. GovGuam employees, the private sector, and the military gave up many Saturdays and Sundays over the summer to help with School Readiness Projects around the school such as water blasting walls and sidewalks, and grounds maintenance. CBMES Principal Kathy Reyes said many businesses deserve recognition especially when they donated items such as paint and materials. “We want to express our deepest appreciation for all the support, contributions, and hard work. Numerous businesses, government agencies, the Seabees, the community and faculty and staff offered their support and time on weekends in preparation for the opening of the school.” said Reyes. About 27 Government agencies, businesses and the Navy Seabees will be honored this Friday, September 9, 2005, at 6:00 p.m. at the school courtyard for an Appreciation dinner hosted by the school administration and PTO.
