Leadership Academy Continues This Week

(Hagåtña, Guam) The 2005 Leadership Academy continued today with Guam’s public school administrators going into the third day of the five-day conference over at the Westin Resort Guam. About 120 school principals both new and experienced are participating hoping to refine their skills as school leaders.

Using the Interstate School Learning Licensure Consortium Standards for school leaders, participants discussed various models on one of those standards dealing with management, resources, and operations.

“Sustaining Our Profession: Building for Tomorrow” is the theme for this year’s Academy which anticipates more teachers will step up and face the many challenges in becoming principals.
