Business and Finance Training for Administrative Personnel at Schools Set

(Hagåtña, Guam) The Guam Public School System continues to support its employees with training this summer in anticipation of the new school year. School Readiness also applies to training school staff who handle and process Non Appropriated Funds (NAF) and other business and finance tasks.

The Division of Internal Audit has mapped out a four-day training schedule from July 12, 2005 to July 15, 2005 with each day beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 3:30 p.m. The training will take place at Tamuning Elementary School.

Issues such as supply requisitions, inventory, and financial reporting will be addressed. Administrative Officers and Administrative Assistants will also learn how to handle the School Lunch Program and the proper accounting practices for NAF monies.
