D.O.E. Food Services to Provide Summer Feeding |

(Hagåtña, Guam) The Guam Department of Education is pleased to announce the piloting of the Summer Food Service Program (under the United States Department of Agriculture’s Child Nutrition Program), known as the Community Summer Breakfast Feeding Program (CSBFP). The Community Summer Breakfast Feeding Program will commence on Monday, June 13, 2005 and will end on the last day of the respective school’s summer school program. Only those school-age children, between the ages of three (3) and eighteen (18) years old, will be fed free. The objective of the Community Summer Breakfast Feeding Program is to provide nutritious breakfast meals to Guam’s children during the summer break. Several schools have been designated as feeding sites throughout the island. Hours of Operation will be from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the school’s cafeteria, Mondays through Fridays except on Holidays.
