Creativity Comes Out For Chamorro Culinary Artists This Weekend |

(Hagåtña, Guam) There are many festivities sure to please everyone this month as the island celebrates Chamorro month this March 2005. Along with traditional island wear and performances of cultural songs and dance, there is also the celebration of Chamorro food. This weekend on Saturday, March 12, 2005, the Department of Education’s Chamorro Studies and Special Projects division will be hosting a Chamorro Food Tasting event that will surely satisfy those island cravings. Throughout the floors of the Guam Premium Outlets in Tamuning, the public will get to sample Chamorro chasers, authentic dishes, and delicious desserts. The fun begins at 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. this Saturday, March 12, 2005 at the Guam Premium Outlets in Tamuning.
