Students who violate the agreement contract will be immediately be removed from the program. (Parents or Guardians please bring in an official I.D. for guardian's if you have not filed court documents with the school, please bring them with you so they can be filed.)
Sports Physical Clearance Form
If a student wishes to participate in any sports, they must have the proper clearance. It is mandatory for a doctor to complete and clear the student before they are able to participate.
Teacher referral forms
Teachers must ensure that they contact the parents or guardians or the students before a referral is made. Please make a copy for your records and forward one to the school counselor for that student.
Pre-arrangement
Students who will be missing school for a period of time must have their parents come into the Attendance office to fill out a pre-arrangement request and provide evidence for requested time of absence.
If they are leaving off-island a copy of the airline ticket may be asked to be provided upon their return. Students and parents are responsible to submit all make-up assignments as requested by the teacher in a timely manner.
GWHS/Mayor's Community Service Waiver
This program was developed to guide students to become outstanding community members. Our village Mayor's have joined our school by providing students with the option to complete community service hours should they be suspended for 10 or more days. If the student completes the required community service hours they may have 5 days waivered from their 10 days suspension. This must be approved by the school administration and agreed on by the mayor, parent/guardian, and student.
