Guideline Description:

GPSS Email guidelines are only provided to help GPSS email users configure their POP3 clients or use GPSS’s web based email.

 

Guideline Requirements:

POP3 configurations = Knowledge and ability to configure POP3 email clients

Web based access = Knowledge and ability to log in and use a web based email system

 

 

GPSS Email Structure:  < USERNAME >@GDOE.NET

 

GPSS POP 3 Setup:

 

Enter the following information into the account sections of the POP3 email client.

 

 

Outgoing Mail server requires authentication:

This option needs to be selected because the email server is requiring any user sending mail to authenticate before sending email.

 

GPSS Web Based System: 

Note:  Web based system is limited to 10 MB storage per user.

 

1)                  Connect to GPSS’s Web based system

a.        URL location – http://mail.gdoe.net

 

2)                  If prompted, accept the security certificate by clicking on the YES button.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3)                  Depending on the version of your Internet browser, enter the username, password, and domain information.
