for parents, teachers and administrators to verify the instructional
objectives of the standard course of study at a given grade and subject
area.
As you read through the
different narratives, the term Content Standards refers to "what students
should know" while the term Performance Indicators
represents "what students should be able to do at the completion of the
respective grade (K-12) of education".
