The Language Arts / Reading Program is the catalyst in providing the school language arts and reading educators with guidance and leadership in curriculum development, professional development, and program development with respect to the language arts and reading content areas. Professional Development The annual Reading Summit provides workshops that relate to the development of the five reading skills identified by the National Reading Panel as the essential skills evident in skilled readers. The TFASEG Grant has identified funds to assist teachers in getting certified to teach language arts and reading at the secondary level. |
